In this role, you will be responsible for both managing our brand's social media presence and creating engaging content for our platforms. You will play a critical role in refining and pushing our brand message, including but not limited to LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Website and print. You'll be entrusted with the weekly management of these platforms, generating engaging and audience-centric content, and effectively communicating our vision and culture. You'll collaborate closely with our in-house teams to craft innovative content and strategize its distribution.

Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and manage our social media strategy and marketing to align with organizational goals.
Create a detailed editorial calendar for content posting across platforms.
Write engaging, shareable content accompanied by on-brand visuals.
Curate content from our activities and events. This includes audio/video content (keynotes, interviews, podcasts) into snackable clips.
Create flyers, posters, cards and other print marketing documents as needed
Post 1-2x a week, cross platform through Buffer (or direct posting) across LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube and IG (stories also).
Review platform analytics and create monthly reports on key metrics.
Qualifications
Experience with managing social media accounts
Point us to captions and content you've led or created
Experience with creating social media content
Link us to social media channels you've built.
Experience writing strong, succinct copy that is grammatically correct
An eye for detail and creativity
Excellent time management skills
Effective organizational and communication skills
Candidates must be legally able to work in the United States of America

About the Company
B.O.O.K (Building Our Own Kids) Academy is a free community service provided through the Maranatha Outreach Center in San Jose, Ca.. B.O.O.K provides a positive, safe, and quiet atmosphere for students in grades K-12 to excel in their academic studies. Four levels of services are offered through the program: homework assistance, tutoring, skill-building activities, and access to computers. A mental wellness component is also available.
