About the Role
The Educational Coordinator/Recruiter (ECR) role is vital for the needs of the student and the success of the center. It is often the first point of contact between B.O.O.K. Academy and prospective families. The ECR assists with student recruitment and program implementation. You will work directly with community organizations/families and school districts to acquire recommendations and registrations for students/families in need of the services that we provide, helping ensure the center maintains the required quota needed for the school year. As the coordinator you will assess the needs and current performance of those students, and meet with parents as well as teachers to discuss and help guide concerns regarding the student and ensure the agreed upon educational plan is being used properly.
You will share findings via reports back to the program teams and also assist in the recruitment of instructors/counselors and tutors. You may also be asked to coordinate/lead educational and enrichment classes.
Additional responsibilities will include ensuring compliance with county contract requirements and the goals of the program. The educational coordinator will work onsite at the center but will also need to visit schools or other community organization sites.
